Transparency & Communication

The Open Meetings Act is a floor, not a ceiling.  It outlines the absolute minimum that public meetings must meet. We can always make improvements to better inform and communicate with residents.

In my experience professionally and as a member of town commissions, open discussions and transparency support our democracy and help us move forward together.  I will ensure all residents are not only informed but empowered to voice their opinions and concerns, so everyone is a part of the decision-making process.

If elected to council, one goal I have is to create a blog/newsletter to communicate with residents. It is my hope you can use it as an additional tool to be informed and hear from a councilor regularly.
