Personnel & New Solicitor

Personnel

The Town Council moved forward with hiring Attorney Chris Zangari as our new Solicitor.  His prior zoning and solicitor experience allowed him to hit the ground running!

There have been other staffing changes as well. Last year, there was a lot of discussion and complaints about the hiring/firing procedure from my colleague. I initiated an agenda item to address these concerns and after discussions, we agreed to leave the procedure the same as before we were elected. Since then, we have been able to smoothly transition both promotions and new hires.

A long-time deputy clerk retired and we promoted our assistant clerk, Kendra, and hired a new employee to fill her role, Connor. We hired Michael Rosso as our Electrical Inspector. We promoted Gary Robar as our new DPW Director, then promoted Bob Doucette (former Public Works Truck Driver/Laborer) to the Superintendent position held by Gary. Congratulations to all!

Finally, I’d like to Congratulate Laura Kenyon on her plans to retire this year!

Thank you for your hard work and dedication to the town!
